I'm a wife and mother living in Houston, TX. I have three children, Soli, Alex and Sara. I work full-time and my husband, Marty, stays at home with our children and goes to school at night. Please, don't ever call him "Mr. Mom".

Whipping Boy

I'm so tired of being a whipping boy. If I get one more irate caller bitching to me about some computer program that I didn't write, can't edit, and didn't even pick out for the firm in the first place... I swear to God...

Okay, I won't do anything at all but what I've been doing everyday since I first started working here nearly three years ago. I'll say "Yes", "I understand", "I'll see what I can do" and "Let me find out for you". Basically anything at all to get them off my phone and out of my headache. Of course, I'm usually making strangling motions to my phone all the while.

As if that's not bad enough, I've got horrible back pain to deal with, too. I just went to the doctor today and she gave me some drugs (Naproxen and Flexeril) but I can't take the good stuff until right before bed. All I need is to be high on muscle relaxers when some a-hole starts bitching about their computer. Actually, now that I think about it, it might make it easier.

Soli's third Easter

Okay, here goes my very first posting on my very first Blog. Should this be a moment of celebration, or trepidation? For me it's closer to the latter. Well, I'll give it a shot anyway. Soli is nearly two. Since she was born 4 days before Easter this will be her third. This year is going to be her first BIG Easter. We are going to her grandparent's (my husband's parents) house to celebrate. There is going to be an Easter egg hunt and everything. I know that she is going to have a blast.
